Welcome! The purpose of this blog is to challenge myself, and you, to wake up. "So let's not sleepwalk through life like those others. Let's keep our eyes open and be smart (1Thessalonians 5:6)" I challenge that we "love the Lord [our] God with all [our] heart and with all [our] soul and with all [our] mind and with all [our] strength (Mark 12:30)." I challenge that we answer God's call when he said, "if anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me (Luke 9:23)." My goal is to write whenever God teaches me something new. In addition to the blog, I have also shared poems and stories that I have written that I hope you enjoy. I have titled this site, "Not About Me." While I will often mention my own experiences, and I will probably learn more from this than anyone else, this title is to be my constant reminder of Who this is really all about. --Emily Diehl
